Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), Lagos State Police Command, have smashed a four-man robbery gang who carried out an operation at the arrival hall of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja on October 30, last year.

In the process, they carted away the sum of $1.5 million kept in a bagging store by Mrs Uche Eziama, owner of Deravine Company. According to a police source, the said money was kept in a bag and Mrs. Eziama intended to use it for a business transaction that could not hold, following which she decided to keep it in the bagging store. But to her utter shock, by the time she went there to fetch it, it had vanished. She alerted the police and some suspects were arrested. Son of Hunger Games asst. director, kills 7 in shooting spree after chilling video rant

 

On Friday May 23rd, the privileged 22 year old son of Hunger Games assistant director Peter Rodger, Elliot Rodger took his own life after killing 6 people and leaving 13 others wounded in Isla Vista near the University of California, Santa Barbara.

The Santa Barbara City College student, who was angry at the world for still being a virgin at 22, posted a chilling video hours before he went on rampage warning of ‘retribution’ because girls rejected him.

The killer, who had Asperger’s syndrome and was in the care of several therapists, started by stabbing three of his roommates to death around 9.30pm on Friday then armed himself with three handguns and drove to nearby Alpha Phi sorority. According to law enforcement agent, Elliot knocked on the door but no one would let him in and that was when he spotted two women standing outside the sorority and fired shots at them killing two of them, Katie Cooper, 22, and Veronika Weiss, 19.


After the shooting, Elliot Rodger returned to his black BMW and drove to IV Deli Mart in Golita where he shot dead 20-year-old UCSB sophomore Christopher Martinez, an unsuspecting bystander.…

Kanye was family, they should have been there and if they were wary of the cameras, they should have insisted on not being filmed. There were reports last week that Will and Jada Smith were being investigated by the Department of Family and Children Services after pictures of their 13-year-old daughter Willow Smith lying in bed with half naked 20-year-old actor Moisés Arias surfaced online.

Willow has been question twice by DFACS. From Radar Online;

“Willow was questioned on two separate occasions by social workers from Child Protective Services,” the source said. “Once in the presence of her parents, and the second time, Willow was alone with the social workers.”
The source continued, “This is how all investigations are handled. Both Will and Jada have also been questioned. At this point, the investigation remains open, and won’t be closed for at least another few weeks.”
“Will and Jada have been extremely cooperative with officials,” according to the source. “Of course, they aren’t happy that their parenting skills are under scrutiny, but they understand.

So Sad: Pregnant Woman, Man Killed By Lightning In Benue

MAKURDI—A pregnant women (names withheld) and a middle aged man, identified as Barber, were, yesterday, killed by lightning during a downpour in Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State.

Vanguard gathered from eyewitnesses that the deceased persons were both operating a business premises at a popular hotel on Gboko West area of the town when they met their untimely death.

According to an eyewitness, the victims had close shop for the day and where locking up their business premises at 7p.m. when they were simultaneously struck.

According to one Mr. Haanya Aondoakaa, who claimed he witnessed the incident, “when the rain started we were all happy because we have had scarcity of rains this year, but the thunder and lightning that accompanied the rain scared everyone.

Woman sacrificed her life for Beyonce.

A 23-year-old American woman known as Taniya Hattersfield committed suicide in sacrifice to the singer Beyonce who she considered her "lord and saviour". She was a new member of the National Church of Bey(In this church they worship Beyonce). 

Taniya's body was found in the basement of her family home, College Park, Georgia, surrounded by a self-made shrine dedicated to the star.
This caused rage among people who are urging Beyonce to speak against Beyism, but no reaction yet.

Borno State to spend N150m to rehabilitate 53 escapee girls, parents

 

Borno State governor, Kashim Shettima, yesterday announced that the state government would be spending N150million for the rehabilitation of the 53 chibok girls that escaped from Boko Haram captivity as well as their parents whose source of livelihood was affected by the abduction, Sahara Reporters reports.

The Governor made this announcement when he received the Presidential Fact Finding Committee on the missing girls in his office yesterday. Gov Shettima decried the notion by some people that the missing Chibok girls was a scam or that it was a staged attempt by the state government to stop emergency rule extension in the state. Mother of Abducted Chibok girl dies of Heart Attack

 

Mary Paul Lalai,the mother of one of the abducted Chibok girls,suffered a heart attack and died .It was was confirmed by the member representing Chibok constituency in the State House of Assembly, Aimu Fona.
He told The Nation

" that on hearing the shocking news of the abduction of her daughter, she collapsed died"

The late Mary had since been buried according to Christian rites .Her husband is still hoping two of his daughters abducted by Boko Haram would be released...

Over the weekend, 50 cent's oldest son Marquise Jackson claimed the famous rapper skipped his high school graduation. A disappointed Marquis, who cried with his mum, took to instagram to let people know what his dad did and black twitter came after 50. Guess high school graduation is a pretty big deal to some.

The owner Ceará Francisco Helder Braga Fernandes, said the idea for the bar came about after 9/11, when Bin Laden became the most wanted man in the world. He found himself in trouble after a customer reported that Bin Laden was hiding out in Brazil running a bar.

The officers sent to arrest who they thought was Bin Laden were shocked to realise he was a look alike..The attempted arrest was aired on TV and he became a local celebrity and decided to rename his bar" Bar do Bin Laden"

Two bombs were set off in Jos this afternoon..The explosion occurred at the Jos Main Market,behind Ahmadu Bello Way.It's a densely populated area and the commercial hub of the city..The first explosion is said to have gone off at about 2:30 pm,in a Siena space bus with number plate,Plateau XB 146 BLD.
The second blast went off 30 minutes later,killing many more who rushed to the scene of the first bomb to rescue victims. An eyewitness who was shopping says

.. people are running, cars smashing into each other ,and bodies flying...and the whole roads are blocked as some abandoned their cars and ran..
Police commissioner Chris Olakpe said as at now,46 people were killed and 45 others injured .But the state government says they are not in a hurry to release casualty figures as they are still collating numbers from hospitals ...According to eyewitnesses, the number of casualties exceeds 200 as against an official figure because the market was densely populated..

"Using force to rescue abducted girls is NOT an option now" - Boko Haram negotiator

Shehu Sani, a former negotiator between Boko Haram and government, is advising the Nigerian authorities to negotiate with Boko Haram to set free the girls or fight with them .He told CNN “Connect the World” show

“There are two ways to which you can get these girls free.The first is to use force, and the second is through dialogue. The use of force is not an option for now in the sense that nobody knows where these girls were kept.And even if you know, these girls have been embedded in with the insurgents who are heavily armed. And any attempt to rescue them will be putting their lives in further danger.”You all know the FG says they won't negotiate with terrorists while Boko Haram says the only way they would release the girls is when they free their members from prison.

Civilians Kill 200 Boko Haram Terrorists In Borno attack yesterday

The rise of the civilians against terror took the Boko Haram saga to a new turn in the early hours of Tuesday morning when citizens of Rann, headquarters of Kala-Balge local government area, Borno northeast, who had fore-knowledge of an impending Boko Haram attack, decided not to remain sitting ducks but prepared for battle.

According to reports we received from Civilian sources in Borno, over 400 Boko Haram terrorists stormed Rann and neighboring villages in the early hours of Tuesday, with their usual convoy of hilux trucks, motorcycles and APC (Armored Personnel Carriers) only to meet villagers ready for them this time. The civilian villagers pounced on the terrorists with mere rocks, bows and arrows, local Dane guns, swords and “charms,” but as we have earlier reported, Boko Haram are more frightened of Civilian-JTF than they are of the Nigerian army, and run from the civilians even if they - the civilians only have knives

This was being shopped for five days to the highest bidder,” said a source who confirmed the tape was sold for $250,000. The Standard has hired Hollywood lawyer Marty Singer, who is investigating who shopped the tape. “There are only a handful of people who’d have access to that tape,” our source said. “The Standard owns that tape.” But, “Once it was out, Jay Z’s people felt they couldn’t control it. They were reluctant to try and publicly fight this.”

I spoke again to some friends in the oil industry and I was told to ask to be able to supply transportation services for those who are purchasing crude within the country but I was shut down again by the minister.

Chibok: FG rejects Boko Haram’s proposal

The Federal Government has said it would not negotiate with Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau following the demands he made this morning in a video he released showing the kidnapped girls.

In an interview with AFP, Interior Minister, Abba Moro, said the issue in question is not about Boko Haram giving conditions.

Also speaking at a press conference of security heads and other stakeholders following the release of the video, the DG of the National Orientation Agency, Mike Omeri, said FG would explore all other options to rescue the girls but would not negotiate with terrorists

"All options are on the table and open, we are interacting with the military and intelligent experts who are already on surveillance in the North Eastern part of the country. We will adopt all available options to get the girls out, but we will not negotiate with the sect"

Father accidentally kills 2 year old son while pulling out of drive way

The saddest thing thing ever..A 2 year old boy,Justin Thai was killed when he ran behind his father's car as he was backing out of the driveway about 7 p.m.. His father was on his way to pick up his other child, an 8-month-old boy, from the babysitter.The Denver father is devastated by the tragic accident which happened on Wednesday
The unidentified parents of Justin had their church priest speak to reporters on their behalf.Holding a picture of a smiling Justin, Father Joseph Tung Dang, said

"We are unbelievably saddened and brokenhearted,(Justin) was such a blessing with his smiling face to his family with his brief time here."According to Denver Post, the Denver police Cmd. Bill Nagle said the tragic incident is under investigation, butdrugs and alcohol did not play a factor.The medical examiner said the boy died from blunt force trauma to the head. Boko Haram has just released a video showing some of the kidnapped Nigerian girls .The 27-minute footage released to AFP shows about 130 girls wearing Hijabs and reciting the Quran as they make Islamic declarations .
Sky news aired some screenshots from the video and Shekau also said that they will release them in exchange for militant prisoners being freed..
