Just a few weeks ago, we Beyonce slayed the stage as she performed a 15-minute medley at the MTV Video Music Awards before accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, and now we get to see how the performance all came together.
In an exactly four-minute clip posted to her YouTube today, Bey says a prayer with her dancers, “God we can imagine being little kids dreaming of this night and we are here,” before the magic begins. There’s stage set ups, changes in choreography, and even Beyoncé deciding that she wanted to paint her dancers white an hour before the show — but in the end, it all came together flawlessly.
Blue Ivy, the undeniable baby star of the night, also makes an appearance as well, while saying “Everybody said ‘Good job!!’” see more photos and watch the video here...
